17 With A dream

great things start in little rooms.

17 year old me would be so proud of the corporate dropout I’ve become. From making my first YouTube video on my iPhone 12 in my bedroom to starting a college series that inspired and educated thousands… From documenting my FAMU journey to navigating post grad life, I’ve spent the past 5 years building a creative ecosystem that not only showcases my unconventional journey but pours back into the future of young creatives finding their own lane.

then vs now

Let’s Take It Back… Where It All Began

I started making content around 17-18 years old on YouTube to promote my newly launched haircare brand. I originally wanted to be the next Naptural 85, Mini Marley, or Daye La Soul (natural hair gurus). Then one college application advice video turned into a series, which evolved into vlogging my HBCU experience at Florida A&M. That journey gained me 200k+ views and 13k+ watch time hours, helping me find my voice and grow a community along the way. My audience has seen me grow from high school to college and continues to watch that evolution unfold.

then, I graduated… taste tested corporate for 11 months and dropped out

After graduating, I didn’t want to be known as “the FAMU college advice girl,” so I pivoted to lifestyle content and started sharing my post grad life. Then life started to life and ya girl became a corporate dropout in March 2025. That’s when I made the shift into taking content creation seriously. I decided to be transparent about my experience, opening up about the highs and lows, which led me to where I am now.
